Thank you for supporting the work of our churches. Here are the ways you can give to the Benefice of Witney.
Parish Giving Scheme
By far the most efficient way of regular giving is via the Parish Giving Scheme, administered on our behalf. It also manages any Gift Aid claims from HMRC so that we receive these extra funds monthly to aid our cashflow.
- Online: visit the Parish Giving Scheme Witney page (button below) and set up your giving via direct debit using a secure online form, quoting our code: 270627266.
- By phone: call 0333 002 1271, between 9.00am and 5.00pm, quoting our code: 270627266.
To make changes to an existing donation through the Parish Giving Scheme, call 0333 002 1260 between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
If you currently give by Standing Order or via the envelope scheme, please consider moving to the Parish Giving Scheme — it avoids us handling physical cash, minimises trips to the bank, and eases the burden on Michelle when submitting Gift Aid claims.
One Off Gifts by BACS
If you wish to make a one-off gift to the Parish, it would be ideal if you could make the payment electronically by BACS, to:
Witney PCC — Sort Code 20-97-48, Account Number 00971626.
Please add a reference, for example “One Off Gift” or “Hardship Fund” (for a gift to help those in greatest need).
If you don’t have access to online banking, you can send a cheque payable to Witney PCC to the Parish Office, St Mary’s Church, Church Green, Witney, OX28 4AW — please write the purpose of your gift on the back of the cheque.

Gift Aid
Donating through Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give from the Government, at no extra cost to you.
To enable us to claim Gift Aid, please complete a Gift Aid form:

- Gift Aid Form (PDF version) — please email the completed form to the office.
