The Benefice of Witney brings together the parishes of Witney and Minster Lovell as one family of six Church of England churches: St Mary’s (Witney), Holy Trinity (Wood Green), St John the Evangelist (Hailey), Windrush Church (new estates in West Witney), St John the Baptist (Curbridge), and St Kenelm’s (Minster Lovell).
Our Purpose and Shared Life
Our vision is to be a community of mercy and kindness, helping each person grow deeper in their knowledge of and relationship with God. We treasure the Eucharist and the rhythm of daily prayer as the foundations of our common life.
We aspire to be an inclusive, welcoming community, extending a warm invitation to everyone to come and join us, irrespective of age, race, background, wealth, disability, gender identity, sexuality, belief or life experience.
